MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS
The d-Copia 163MF and d-Copia 164MF are multiple functions compact systems providing copier, printer, colour scanner and, on the d-Copia 164MF, fax functions in a single device. The result is a significant saving in space and efficient rationalisation of office peripherals to meet the needs of individual users and small-medium businesses alike.

ERGONOMICS
Both models feature a user-friendly operator panel with backlit function keys. A window on the front of the paper tray shows how much paper is available and ample room is provided by the output compartment so that documents can be easily retrieved as soon as they are ready.

SAVINGS
By using long-life components such as a 100,000-copy drum and developer, the d-Copia 163MF and d-Copia
164MF guarantee constant productivity and exceptionally low running costs. The only consumable that needs to be replaced during the product life cycle is the toner, with a choice of a 2,000-copy or a highcapacity 6,000-copy version. A particularly useful feature for production of draft documents is the toner-saving key, which reduces the amount of powder deposited on the page being printed or copied.

COPIER
All the copy functions are available without having to connect to a PC. They include reduction of 2 or 4 originals on to one sheet, to optimise paper use. The standard 50-page automatic document feed means large documents can be copied quickly and easily.

PRINTER
The d-Copia 163MF and d-Copia 164MF can be connected to a PC via a USB 2.0 (Hi-Speed) interface, while the optional external network box allows small workgroups to share print resources. The 16 ppm printer engine and a first-page-out time of less than 11 seconds keep waiting time to a minimum.

SCANNER
The TWAIN colour scanner handles formats up to A4 from both the machine bed and the ADF. It delivers interpolated resolution of 2400 dpi and supports Scan-to-PC and Scan-to-Email functions via the standard software QLINK utility.

FAX
In addition to print, copy and scan functions, the d-Copia 164MF offers a fax capability, with a 33.6 Kbps modem. Up to 100 numbers can be keyed in from the operator panel. The wide range of features includes direct transmission from memory, deferred transmission and broadcasting. The 3 MB memory for paper-out reception holds more than 150 pages.
